   Proposal Description:
   This study aims to compare neuropsychological and functional test scores in frontotemporal dementia (FTD). We will sample the cases using phenotypic and neuropathologic definitions of FTD. This study will use mixed effects modeling of test score trajectories in mild, moderate and severe disease, as defined by the Clinical Dementia Rating (CDR). Different tests will be ordered by average slope in the different stages of disease, so as to identify those with maximum sensitivity for tracking progression within each stage. The information from this study will improve the interpretation of these phenotypic data in clinical settings and treatment trials.
